| Birthday Party FAQs What hours are you open? We are open from 10am-6pm Thursday-Saturday and 11am-6pm on Sunday. How many people do I need in my party to qualify for the birthday package? Minimum of 6 to qualify. Everyone that enters the CBE must pay an admission. What is special about the birthday party package? The birthday kid gets a FREE CBE gift and a $5 admission. Who do I contact to set up the pizza party at Pizza Bar? Please contact Kevin Patch, kpatch@mcfaddenskc.com Who do I contact to set up the pizza party at Johnny’s Tavern? Please call (816)268-2260. Can I bring cake and ice cream into the facility? We do NOT allow any outside food or beverage but you are welcome to bring in one sports water bottle (per person). Can we reserve time on center court? Center court is based on a first come first serve basis. You can always reserve the facility for a private event, after normal business hours. Is there a private room for birthday parties? We do not have a private room but we do partner with Pizza Bar (located on Grand directly across the street from The CBE) and they offer discounts and allow you to bring in your own cake and ice cream. How long can my party stay at the CBE? When inside, we encourage you to take your time and explore The CBE at your own pace. The average time spent is approximately 1.5 – 2 hours. Your admission is valid all day. Is there special pricing for the birthday party? We offer special pricing for groups of 25 or more. Those rates are $15 per adult (18+) and $12 per youth (4-17). Otherwise, normal rates of $17 per adult (18+) and $15 per youth (4-17) will apply to the rest of the party. Do we bring our own basketballs? We provide the basketballs at over a dozen interactive exhibits. Are babies free? Children 3 years and under are FREE. A family restroom is available on the 2nd floor. Do I pay for the party in advance? We encourage guests to pay when they arrive because we do not issue refunds. There is no deposit necessary to book a birthday party. How far in advance do I need to book the party? At least a week in advance. Is there a place to store our belongings while we play? Lockers are available on the 2nd floor. I don’t plan to play. Do I have to pay for admission? Yes. Every person who enters the hall of fame experiences college basketball. Only persons under age three are admitted free. |
