Arnie "Stilts" Risen was a rugged, versatile center for the Ohio State Buckeyes. A high-percentage shooter and big time rebounder, Risen helped lead OSU to the NCAA Final Four in 1944. He played 13 pro seasons, including seven with the Rochester Royals and three with the Boston Celtics. He led the Royals to the 1951 NBA Championship and helped the Boston Celtics to their first NBA Championship in 1957. Risen led the NBA in field goal percentage in 1949. He was a three-time NBA All-Star.
