Clyde "The Glide" Drexler was a member of the University of Houston's high-flying "Phi Slamma Jamma" Cougars. He led the Cougars to the NCAA Final Four in 1982 and 1983. As a pro, Clyde was a ten time NBA All-Star. After playing for the Portland Trailblazers from 1983 -1995, Drexler was traded to the Houston Rockets and helped lead that team to the NBA title in 1995. He played on the 1992 Olympic "Dream Team" and later elected to 50th Anniversary NBA Team. Drexler returned to his alma mater as Head Coach from 1998-2000, then went to the Denver Nuggets as assistant coach and special assistant to general manager for the 2001-02 season.
