Biography

After playing years of varsity basketball under Coach Tom Blackburn at the University of Dayton, Don Donoher would go on to become the head coach of the Dayton Flyers. He enjoyed immediate success and spent his entire 25-year coaching career with Dayton with a record of 437-275. His Flyers earned eight NCAA tournament berths with seven NIT appearances. Donoher guided Dayton to the NCAA championship game in 1967 before being defeated by John Wooden-coached UCLA.
