As a college coach, most notably at Stetson University, Wilkes won 674 games. In 1958, he created the Glenn Wilkes Basketball School. For 37 years, Wilkes ran the premier basketball camp in the south. His love of the game inspired him to author seven basketball books that continue to develop players and coaches to this day.
