Biography

Despite being thin and wiry at 5'9" and 160 pounds, Pat Page was an outstanding three sport athlete at the University of Chicago. Playing for coaching icon Amos Alonzo Stagg, Page became one of basketball's best defensive players. He averaged 10.2 points per game while leading Chicago to an AAU Championship in 1907 and three straight national championships from 1908-1910. He was a two-time All-American and the National Player of the Year in 1910. Page went on to become a successful coach for Chicago, the College of Idaho, and Butler University. He coached Butler to the AAU Championship in 1924.
