Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Inductee N/A

Born in Phoenix, Illinois, Quinn Buckner elected to play college basketball for the Indiana University Hoosiers under Coach Bob Knight. Buckner was a three-year captain in four seasons and held a career record of 108-12 with the Hoosiers, including 59-5 in conference play. He was a member of the 1975-76 Indiana team which was the undefeated NCAA champion, the last team to finish without a loss. Buckner also won a gold medal on the 1976 U.S. Olympic team.
