Biography

Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Inductee 1985

One of the earliest coaches to win over 500 games on a collegiate level, Anderson was the first to take two different teams to the National Invitational Tournament. He pioneered an up-tempo, offensive game, helping to develop many All-America athletes. Anderson Arena at Bowling Green State University is named for the celebrated coach.
