As a powerful finisher around the basket, Wayman Tisdale dominated the Big 8 Conference at Oklahoma. He was a three-time consensus All-American and Big 8 Player of the Year, averaging 26.5 points and 10.1 rebounds during his Sooner career. Tisdale was a mainstay on the 1984 Olympic Championship team, leading the team in rebounding. He had a successful 12 year career in the NBA and after he retired, he pursued his first love, jazz music.
