Bill Cunningham, "The Kangaroo Kid", was an excellent rebounder and scorer who garnered the title of USBWA All-American for the 1964-65 season and ACC Player of the Year in 1965. He scored 1,709 points and had 1,062 rebounds in his college career. Cunningham had an outstanding pro career with the Philadelphia 76ers in the NBA and the Carolina Cougars in the ABA, including winning the Championship in 1967 with the 76ers. He later coached the 76ers to the 1983 NBA Championship. Cunningham has been named one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA history.
